My Christ-BEST-Mas Films....... Ever........... Part 5 END GAME!!!!

So here we are the last installment in my top 25 Xmas film list

AT...

number...

5.
THE HOLIDAY
Diaz, Winslet, Law & Black put em' together and you get THE HOLIDAY!!!! The ever so slight predictability scale goes up every year, but its in a good take your mind of stressing over the turkey kind of way!!!!

4.
ELF
WILL FARREL AND JAMES CAAN! Now that was a well made comedy match/duo! and who'd have guessed they'd play father and son! Just pure genius!

3.
ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE
'I'll tie a lasso around the moon and pull it down for ya' George bailey exclaims to his one true love Mary hatch, Old classics like this deserve to be withstanding.... and it still is to this very day.

2.
HOME ALONE
Classic slapstick Xmas capers with (THAT HOUSE!) Kevin maCallister the Dennis the menace type hero with (THAT HOUSE!) a exceptionally big heart for the Xmas period (THAT HOUSE!) and for catching the bad guys!.... Oh and did I mention THAT HOUSE!!!!!! OMG!

1.

WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING

Okay so I know what you may be thinking....... Controversial!!! Picking a slightly to-do-with Xmas film, but I got three words GET OVER IT! Its my list do your own if you think you can pick a better film than this, having a great love story, a compelling lead SB, a great family to laugh and also love like your own. Its all about love and acception at Xmas, which is what Xmas is all about in a way and makes this film the top of my chart, and this quote 'You know, peter once asked when I fell for Jack and I told him it was while you were sleeping'
and this one 'I don't drink anymore..... I don't drink any less either!' LOL!

Thanks for reading my list hope you liked and please leave feedback!!!!

My Christ-BEST-mas Films ........Ever ..........PART 4!

So the penultimate list begins.......
Here's 10-6!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

10.
SOMETHINGS GOTTA GIVE
Diane Keaton! Jack Nicholson! That house! That snow! And Paris! And more snow! A great feast for the eyes for that special part of the year.

9.
THE SANTA CLAUS: THE MOVIE
I watched this film about a hour ago, so I should probably put this higher. So corny and full of bad special effects, fair play a 80s film and such predictable acting..... So bad its actually good and fun to watch.

8.
HOME ALONE 2: LOST IN NEW YORK
Says it all in the title really, its the second one, but he's lost in New York this time, so not technically in his home now is he??? Bigger playground, even madder plot, niftier tricks and pranks. But after all who can resist seeing such a monumental and cultural landmark like New York being featured at lovely Christmas time!

7.
JINGLE ALL THE WAY
Schwarzenegger!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mad cap family fun, Stupidity is quite funny and bizzaro!
Nuff said!!!!!!!!!!!

6.
THE FAMILY STONE
Watching this now, every year I watch this film and for me I find a rarity... It gets better with age! Its funny, mad and at times heartfelt and sad. Family filled drama like this strikes you and makes you look at your own family and smirk a little questioning is my family just as mad as this? Answer, YES!

SO I BID YOU ALL A FOND GOODNIGHT AND MEET ME HERE TOMORROW FOR 5-1!!!!! (TEAR STROLLS DOWN MY CHEEK) Nah only messing!

My Christ-Best-Mas Films.... ever..... part 3

After a hectic day of dancing to The Waitresses 'Christmas Wrapping' song, epic!!!!
I'm here to continue my countdown of the best Christmas films ever!!!

So at 15-11 we have....

15.
BLACK CHRISTMAS
So I had to have at least one horror film on my countdown, as much of a copy of 'Halloween' and When a stranger calls' this is, it still puts the 'AHHHHH' into 'ChristmAHHHs!'

14.
MULAN
Disney film number 3 I think, can't even remember now! So this has a very catchy playlist and a very neat layout of snow! Extremely Christmassy!

13.
GREMLINS
One word: GIZMO. Enough said!!!!!!!!!!!!

12.
TOY STORY
Family fun, a classic for any child! And adult truthfully, not to mention there's Xmas featured at the end of the film, nice!

11.
MRS. DOUBTFIRE
For me this film got me through some tough times, especially when I had chicken pots In year 5 and had to stay of school for 6 weeks, Family filled entertainment here, and who doesn't love the comedy capers of a Father trying to spend more time with his kids by dressing up as a 60 year old nanny.... OK as disturbing as it sounds its really not just trust the guy who has seen it a thousand times!

Join me tomorrow for more fun as I count down 10-6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Christ-Best-Mas Films Top 25.... ever! Part 2

Soooooooo as we continue my countdown the yuletide spirit has over taken me and I am now the owner of not 1 but 2 Santa outfits!!!

20.
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH
James Bond's 19th outing, set close to Christmas and millennium, it did after all have Denise Richards as the hot but abysmal Dr. Christmas Jones (no pun intended) there is always a line I remember by James 'I always wanted to have Christmas in Turkey (for those who haven't seen, ****spoiler**** at the end they end up in Turkey, the country, not an actual turkey that would be amazeballs! )

19.
BIG
No Christmas is featured, however you cannot ignore the wish to become an adult quicker and not to mention its a great family film

18.
SNOW WHITE
Another Disney, but lets face it its a classic and on of the first features to come from the world of Disney another good family film to curl up to and enjoy

17.
FINDING NEMO
Who can ignore this family fun filled comedy/ drama/ great sea adventure, obviously one for the kids but adults are not to shy away from this at least once every year!

16.
ALL ABOUT EVE
Absolute classic I watch every year, epic for the infamous Margo Channing line, 'Hold on to your seats, its going to be a bumpy ride'!

Join me tomorrow in part 3
when I count down 15-11!!!!!!
its gonna be epic!!!!!

My Christ-Best-Mas Films Top 25.... ever!

SO... Xmas is upon us all and all I keep doing is watching the best Christmas, family-fun-filled-films I HEART so dearly!

Here's my compiled list starting with numbers 25-21.......

25.
DIE HARD
Who doesn't love the classic Hardcore violence and the premise of one american cop in a bloodied white vest taking on a convoy of vicious and ruthless German squadron.
And they do really DIE hard falling from a great height suits that down to the last broken bone, don't you think!?

24.
ALADDIN
My first Disney to enter the top 25, perfect family fun about a skitrat, to a prince, to a hero... Aww and who doesn't love a timeless love story too (queue Jasmine and Aladdin).....

23.
SISTER ACT
OK OK, while not a Xmas film parse, Xmas wouldn't be the same without the ever delightful Whoopi Goldberg favorite.
The catchy sing-a-long choir-ness goings on and obviously Deloris van Cartier heading the group and providing most laughs. In my own unique excuse it has a church setting, obviously Jesus has a presence hence the nativity scene beckons in the mind and there you have it... Christmas!

22.
JACK FROST
First of all I know what your all thinking, and no its not the 1995 horror film Jack Frost about a killer snowman, Its the more warm hearted yet somewhat predictable one that I can remember going to see with my aunt, uncle and mum at this shopping mall complex, ahhhh fond memories of such a cozy day out, popcorn and MacDonalds burgers galore out when I was like 6 years old...............................
................Oh and the film wasn't bad........

21.
SIX DAYS, SEVEN NIGHTS
Another, no Xmas theme, but the adventure and slight predictable love story (albeit when you watch every Xmas like I do) It become traditional to watch again and again, however at the start of the film you get a complete eye full of snow!!!! And it was a brill one minute at least! Who doesn't love snow!!!!?!!!!!!?!!!!!?!!!!!!

Tomorrow I will present numbers 20-16........... Excitement much!!!!!!!!
